The many faces

It’s always fun to watch a build progress and go through different evolutions. I came across this build of a Japanese car builder that has pretty clean taste with his Nissan Cube.

He went with the always tasteful Work Meisters for the wheel choice, along with a super low static height. The USDM trend is definitely used here, as can be seen with the flush wheels, low stance, roof rack, and a plethora of angled Fatlace stickers.

Next up, he decided for a color change on the Work wheels. The polished look is great, though if I were to be picky, I’d want to see more chrome accessories on the exterior of the car. It also looks like he has some USDM spec Nissan Cube head lights. I have yet to see the JDM head lights on any US spec Cubes, mostly due to the elusiveness of their availability and expensive initial price & freight.

I really like the front brakes and how he applied his signature neon green color. Drilled and slotted rotors may not be totally necessary, but it’s definitely different and makes his car that much more unique.

It looks like he also has the OEM Japanese Nissan option of the sun roof. It’s a pretty cool accessory that also involves a Shoji screen – a nod to classic Japanese interior design.

The final and most current evolution of the mean green Cube is pretty menacing. The blacked out look is spot on with the tinted tail lens, third brake light, and side reflectors. He one-upped his USDM style and stuck a paint matched bike on his rack. We think he needs a Bean Garage sticker on the back to really complete his sticker collection…
